Explore your funding options

West Virginia students have several options to pay for their education, and some may cover the full cost!

The West Virginia Hope Scholarship Program (ESA)

West Virginia’s Hope Scholarship empowers families to make school choices that are right for their educational needs. The Hope Scholarship program offers qualifying West Virginia students an opportunity to build an individual learning experience that works best for them, instead of attending public school full-time.

Eligibility:

  • To qualify for the Hope Scholarship, a student must meet the following eligibility criteria:
    • The student must be a resident of the State of West Virginia and remain a resident while participating in the program.
    • The student must be enrolled or eligible to be enrolled in a West Virginia public school in grades K-12 at the time of application for a specific school year.
    • The student cannot have already successfully completed a secondary education program.
    • The student must be under 21 years of age.

Cost to you:
A West Virginia ESA would fully fund tuition at Smart Schools.

West Virginia Standard Enrollment

If ineligible for the other funding options, students may enroll with Smart Schools and pay on their own. We believe education should be affordable for everyone. That’s why we do our best to keep our prices as low as possible.

Eligibility:
Students of all ages in any location.

Cost to you:
$99 per month
