Explore your funding options
Tennessee students have several options to pay for their education, and some may cover the full cost!
Tennessee Education Savings Account (ESA)
The ESA program allows eligible students who are zoned to attend Memphis-Shelby County Schools, Metro Nashville Public Schools, Hamilton County Schools, or a school that was in the Achievement School District (ASD) to use state and local money toward education expenses, including tuition and/or fees at approved participating non-public schools. Families must meet the household income qualification of less than 200% of the FRL limit.
Eligibility:
Eligible low-income K–12 students who are Tennessee residents zoned to attend Memphis-Shelby County Schools, Metro Nashville Public Schools, Hamilton County Schools, or a school that was in the Achievement School District (ASD).
Cost to you:
A Tennessee ESA would fully fund tuition at Smart Schools.
Tennessee Standard Enrollment
If ineligible for the other funding options, students may enroll with Smart Schools and pay on their own. We believe education should be affordable for everyone. That’s why we do our best to keep our prices as low as possible.
