Explore your funding options
Texas students have several options to pay for their education, and some may cover the full cost!
Texas Education Savings Account Program (ESA)
A Texas Education Freedom Account allows parents to enroll their children outside of the public school system and use TEFA funds to pay for approved education-related expenses. Acceptable vendors and expenses are listed in the program’s marketplace.
Eligibility:
Children are eligible to participate if they are U.S. citizens or lawfully present in the United States and are eligible to attend a Texas school district or open-enrollment charter school or pre-K program, including children of a parent who is an active-duty member of the U.S. armed forces. The parent must be a Texas resident.
Cost to you:
A Texas ESA would fully fund tuition at Smart Schools.
Texas Standard Enrollment
If ineligible for the other funding options, students may enroll with Smart Schools and pay on their own. We believe education should be affordable for everyone. That’s why we do our best to keep our prices as low as possible.
Eligibility:
Students of all ages in any location.
Cost to you:
$99 per month
